Frequently asked Questions

1. What is animal communication?

Animal communication is a practice that focuses on understanding animals through impressions, emotions, images, sensations, and other forms of nonverbal connection. It is often used to gain insight into an animal's behaviours and experience of life, regardless of whether they are living or passed.

2. What kinds of animals can be communicated with?

Animal communication can work with many types of animals (alive and in spirit), including dogs, cats, horses, birds, rabbits, farm animals, wildlife and even plants, mountains and water. See the testimonials of caregivers of many types of animals here.

3. Do animal communicators need to meet the animal in person?

No. Because the connection between the animal and the communicator is energetic, many work remotely using a photograph and basic information about the animal, while others work in person. I work remotely.

4. Why do people contact animal communicators?

People often seek animal communication to better understand behavior issues, emotional concerns, changes in routine, relationships with other animals, or major life transitions, including death.

5. Can animal communication help with lost pets?

Some communicators offer sessions for missing animals and provide information that may assist owners during their search efforts. At this time, lost animals is not my specialty. I can refer you to another communicator.

6. Can animal communication replace veterinary care?

No. Animal communication is not a substitute for professional veterinary diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care. While animal communicators may be able to pinpoint areas of concern correlated with a physical, emotional or spiritual cause, allopathic and surgical help falls within the scope of a qualified veterinarian.

7. What happens during a session?

My sessions are verbal, which I record and transcribe for the animal's caregiver, and send within 24 hours by email, in PDF format. S/he may ask up to 5 questions. I share the entire session without censure, including clairvoyant impressions and all information received from the animal. Click here for an example session.

8. Can animals talk about their feelings?

Animal communication sessions often focus on emotions, preferences, relationships, comfort levels, and reactions to different situations. I do my utmost to make the animal feel safe and heard during a session, so they can share with honesty.

9. How long does an animal communication session take?

Session lengths vary, but many last between 30 minutes and one hour, depending on the communicator and the questions being explored. At this time I offer 2 session lengths: mini (about 15 minutes of active channeling) and regular (about 40 minutes).

10. Can communication be done with animals that have passed away?

Yes. Most animal communicators offer sessions involving animals that have died and share messages or impressions connected to those animals. This is one of my favourite kinds of readings because animals who are no longer in a physical body often share about the other side and more broad universal knowledge.

11. Do young animals communicate differently from older animals?

Many communicators report that each animal has a unique personality and communication style, regardless of age, just like humans.

12. What information should I provide before a session?

Most communicators, including me, ask for a photo of the animal, its name, age, sex and a list of questions or concerns that the caregiver would like a

ddressed.

13. Can animal communication improve the bond between pets and owners?

Yes. Many people use animal communication as a way to gain a deeper understanding of their animals and strengthen their relationship with them.

14. Is animal communication only for problem situations?

No. Some owners schedule sessions simply to learn more about their animal's personality, preferences, and everyday experiences, or to see if they're happy.

15. What is the main goal of animal communication?

The main goal is to better understand animals, helping caregivers to better connect with and care for their animal companions.

16. Do animals reveal secrets?

Yes. Our animals know far more than we think. If you're sensitive to certain topics, or do not want some information, please let me know ahead of time. That being said, often animals reveal just what's necessary in the moment, or positive secrets like 'She has all the tools at her fingertips to transform her life, she just needs to believe and ask for help.'

17. How will I know if an animal communicator has connected to my animal companion and not another animal?.

During a typical reading an animal communicator will ask a series of specific questions and get answers that usually only the guardians know the answers to. For example, "What are your unique characteristics?" will often result in highly accurate information about the animal.
